DESCRIPTION:You’re invited to join us in restoring our natural heritage as we root out alien vegetation from beneath the canopy of our historic Tokai Arboretum. \nJoin our dedicated Arboretum Group (wearing sturdy clothes and gloves accompanied by a bottle of water) at the Tokai Picnic Area car park before heading off to further restore this remarkable piece of history. Tools will be made available but\, should you have poppers\, loppers\, a garden fork or chainsaw handy\, you’re most welcome to bring it/them along. \nPlease note that\, while all are most welcome\, these activities involve physical exertion and we ask that you be mindful of your abilities and limitations in this regard.
