SUMMARY:Volunteer Saturday!
DESCRIPTION:LAST DAY OF THE SEASON! LET’S TAKE ON THE ALIEN VEGETATION INVADERS! \nGrab your hats\, tools\, and adventurous spirit — we’re heading back to Tokai this Saturday\, 29 November\, for one final round of alien vegetation busting! \nA massive shout out to everyone who has helped us tackle Port Jackson and Long-leaf Wattle these past months. This Saturday is officially our LAST VOLUNTEER DAY OF THE SEASON before we break for summer (it gets way too hot and the ground turns to concrete!). Let’s make this final push our most impactful one yet! \nThis weekend we’re focusing ONLY on the Tokai site. \nWe’ll be working in the critically endangered Peninsula Granite Fynbos — a magical ecosystem that needs all the help it can get — pulling out Long-leaf Wattle and giving the local fynbos space to thrive again. \nWhat to bring:\n👉 Your grubber\, small fork\, or spade\n👉 A hat (super important!)\n👉 Plenty of water\n👉 Friends\, family\, kids — all ages welcome! The more hands\, the better! \n📍 Location: Tokai\n🕣 Time: 08:30\n📍 Meet at: Tokai Park Braai & Picnic Area\, Tokai Road\n(Please arrive on time — we’ll drive to the site together.) \n📞 Ray: 067 177 6225 \nhttp://tokaipark.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/Video-2025-11-27-Sugarbird-Trust.mp4\nCome help us save the fynbos\, get a little dirty\, and wrap up the season with a final feel-good morning!
