City Nature Challenge – Night Walk

On Thursday 26 April 2024, starting at 18:00, Vard Aman will kick off the 2024 City Nature Challenge by leading one of his extremely popular night walks through Lower Tokai Park.
Some of the fauna seen on previous night walks at Tokai Park include pygmy mice, chameleons, scorpions (Parabuthus capensis, Uroplectes lineatus and Opistophthalmus capensis), snakes (mole snakes and slug eaters), frogs and toads, spiders and insects galore, and the occasional bat.
There are limited spots available for this walk and they’ll be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Reserve the night (the sun will set at 18:10) and watch this space.
