Great Southern Bioblitz 2023

In 2023, 34 places (countries, regions, cities and towns) in 11 countries in southern and central Africa are taking part in the Great Southern Bioblitz 2023. Please join in the fun!
If you live in or can visit one of our regions from November 24 – 27th. 2023, you can take part by recording any plants, animals or fungi within the region’s boundaries. This involves taking photos and uploading the observations to iNaturalist. We recommend that you consider using the smartphone app (Android), downloadable from our site (iPhone).
